The Anam Mui Ne Joins Prestigious Virtuoso Portfolio

The Anam Mui Ne, a remarkable resort with a design inspired by the Indochine era, has joined Virtuoso’s exclusive collection of hotels and resorts worldwide.

Virtuoso, the leading global network of agencies specializing in luxury and experiential travel, has more than 20,000 travel advisors and partners with more than 2000 of the world’s top companies such as hotels, cruise lines, tour operators and more.

Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, with corporate offices in Seattle, New York, Sydney, Shanghai and Mexico City, Virtuoso’s “advisors use their personal connections and firsthand expertise to craft bespoke trips for clients, including unique experiences, special values, complimentary perks, VIP treatment and rare access”.

To join Virtuoso, which is renowned for being selective and representing only one or two hotels in a destination, hotels must undergo a stringent vetting process involving recommendations from respected travel advisors.

The Anam Mui Ne has joined 11 other Virtuoso hotels and resorts in Vietnam including the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi and Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai. The Anam Mui Ne is the only Virtuoso hotel situated between the Park Hyatt Saigon and Amanoi in Ninh Thuan province.

The Anam Mui Ne’s founder and owner Pham Van Hien said he and the resort’s team were excited to be recognized by a network that shared The Anam’s commitment to sustainability.

“It is a privilege for our resort, crafted by age-old artisans from across Vietnam, to join Virtuoso,” said Mr Hien. “In paying homage to Mui Ne’s Champa culture heritage, by supporting livelihoods in our local community and with a raft of sustainability measures, our resort exemplifies Virtuoso’s three pillars of sustainability – celebrate the culture, support the economy and protect the planet.”

The Anam Mui Ne is also part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) portfolio, a collection of the globe’s leading boutique independent luxury properties. It is the only SLH property in Vietnam.

Perched on 1.2 hectares of spectacular oceanfront, the independently owned and operated resort is situated in Mui Ne, a popular beach town within an easy commute from Ho Chi Minh City.  With 127 elegant rooms and suites, two restaurants and a bar, a five-treatment-room spa, two spacious swimming pools - one freshwater and the other saltwater - a ballroom, conference rooms, water sports center, fitness center, yoga room, kid’s club, gift shop and more, The Anam Mui Ne has redefined the benchmarks of an upscale experience at Mui Ne.

The Anam Mui Ne has a ban on single-use plastics and has implemented an array of measures to reduce its carbon footprint ranging from solar power to locally sourced ingredients. Laundry water is recycled to water the gardens. Straws, bags and bathroom amenities are biodegradable. The resort’s eco-friendly key cards are also made from wood that’s been sourced from sustainably managed forests.
